CFS Supervisor

As a CFS Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating child and family support programs in Iraq. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of dedicated staff to ensure the effective implementation of Child and Family Support initiatives.
  • Monitoring and evaluating program activities to ensure they align with organizational goals and meet the needs of children and families.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff members, promoting a positive and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborating with community stakeholders, including local authorities and partner organizations, to strengthen program outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to program activities.
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children participating in the program.
  • Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures, including child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

Protection Officer

As a Protection Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable populations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify protection risks and needs within the community.
  • Developing and implementing protection programs and initiatives tailored to address identified risks.
  • Providing direct support and assistance to individuals and families facing protection concerns, such as displacement, gender-based violence, child protection issues, and more.
  • Collaborating with local authorities, humanitarian agencies, and community leaders to coordinate protection efforts and services.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of protection activities and adapting strategies as needed.
  • Advocating for the rights and dignity of vulnerable individuals and communities.
  • Contributing to the development of protection-related policies and guidelines.
  • Compiling accurate data and reports to document protection cases and trends.
  • Promoting community awareness and participation in protection-related initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards, particularly in matters related to human rights and protection

CFS facilitator

As a CFS Facilitator, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging environment for children and families. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting child-centered and family-oriented activities in line with program objectives.
  • Facilitating group sessions, workshops, and recreational activities that promote learning, well-being, and emotional support for children.
  • Providing individual and group counseling or guidance to children and caregivers as needed.
  • Implementing age-appropriate educational and play-based activities to stimulate children’s development and creativity.
  • Ensuring a safe and protective environment for children, adhering to child safeguarding principles.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to design and adapt program content to meet the unique needs of participants.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress and participation of children and families in program activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports related to program implementation.
  • Building positive relationships with children and caregivers, fostering a sense of trust and security.
  • Promoting the psychosocial well-being and resilience of children facing challenging circumstances.
