GIZ زار وفد الوكالة الالمانية للتنمية للطاقة النظيفة والمتجددة
مقر الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة لمناقشة تنفيذ مجموعة من المشاريع المتعلقة بالتغير المناخي في محافظة نينوى
و استقبل الوفد من قبل رئيس الجمعية بحضور مدير البرامج و مسؤول المتابعة و التقييم
أعرب الوفد عن تفائله في إمكانية تنفيذ برامج و مشاريع نموذجية بمواصفات فنية لتحدي التغيرات المناخية ثم تقييمها و معرفة فاعليتها و كفاءة تنفيذها
NDC تأتي هذه المبادرات كجهود دولية لدعم مساعي العراق في مواجهة التغيرات المناخية بموجب وثيقة المساهمات الوطنية العراقية
من أجل المضي وصولا إلى اقتصاد أخضر و مستدام في العراق إضافة إلى تفعيل دور المنظمات البيئية المحلية في تعزيز التزامات العراق في وثيقة المساهمات الوطنية في مجال التغيرات المناخية
A delegation of the German Development Agency (GIZ) for clean and renewable energy visited the headquarters of the Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE to discuss the implementation of a group of model projects related to climate change in Nineveh Governorate.
The delegation was received by the Director of the Association, in the presence of the Programs Director and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
The delegation expressed optimism about the possibility of implementing model programs and projects with technical specifications to challenge climate change, then evaluate them and know their effectiveness and efficiency of implementation.
These initiatives come as international efforts to support Iraq’s endeavors in confronting climate change under the Iraqi National Contribution Document-NDC in order to move towards a green and sustainable economy in Iraq, in addition to activating the role of local Iraqi environmental organizations in strengthening Iraq’s commitments in the National Contribution Document in the field of climate change.
