شاركت الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة بمهرجان التنمية المستدامة الاول الذي اقامته جامعة الموصل للمدة من 13 الى 14 أذار 2023

و كانت غاية الجمعية من مشاركتها في هذا المهرجان هو تعريف الطلبة و الزائرين بأهداف التنمية المستدامة التي اقرتها الامم المتحدة و كيف تم ادماج هذه الاهداف في تنفيذ المشاريع المختلفة التي نفذتها الجمعية لتكون مشاريع مستدامة و تخدم المستفيدين و البيئة و تساهم في تجاوز التحديات في مجال الفقر و الجندر و التعليم و توفير فرص العمل و البنى التحتية و المحافظة على البيئة و المشاركات الداعمة

و قد نفذت الجمعية مشاريعها المستدامة من خلال المشاركة مع منظمات الامم المتحدة و المنظمات الدولية فضلاً على الاعمال التطوعية التي شملت مشاريع متنوعة منها اقامة الملتقيات العلمية للابتكارات الخاصة بالذكاء الاصطناعي و الروبوت

و اوضحت البوسترات المعروضة صوراً للمشاريع المنفذه و حسب الهدف الذي تم الوصول اليه في كل مشروع و حسب نوعه في مجال البنى التحتية و التعليم و الحماية و سبل العيش و غيرها

كما تم عرض نموجين مبتكرين في مجال الزراعة الذكية و التجهيزات الطبية بأستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي و انترنيت الاشياء و التي تم ابتكارها من قبل المهندسين الشباب الذين تم رعايتهم و دعمهم من قبل الجمعية

و يذكر ان الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة قد حصلت على الصفة الاستشارية للمجلس الاقتصادي و الاجتماعي للامم المتحدة

. UNFCCC و كذلك على صفة مراقب للاتفاقية الاطارية للتغيرات المناخية

The Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE, has participated in the first sustainable development festival held by the University of Mosul from 13 to 14 March 2023.EADE aimed from its participation in this festival was to introduce students and visitors to the goals of sustainable development approved by the United Nations and how these goals were integrated into the implementation of the various projects implemented by EADE to be sustainable projects that serve the beneficiaries and the environment and contribute to overcoming challenges in the field of poverty, gender, education, job creation, infrastructure, environmental preservation, and supportive partnerships.

EADE has implemented its sustainable projects through participation with United Nations organizations and international organizations, as well as voluntary work, which included various projects, including the establishment of scientific forums for innovations related to artificial intelligence and robotics.

The displayed posters showed pictures of the implemented projects, according to the goal that was reached in each project, and according to its type in the field of infrastructure, education, protection, livelihoods, and others.

Two innovative models were presented in the field of smart agriculture and medical equipment using artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, which were created by young engineers who were sponsored and supported by EADE.

Knowing that that the Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE has granted the special consultative status of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations ECOSOC, as well as the status of an observer of the Framework Convention on Climate Change UNFCCC.
