شارك وفد الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة في مؤتمر الوصول الى التمويل المنعقد في بغداد برعاية الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية. ان هذا المؤتمر الذي حضره أكثر من 200 ممثل عن القطاع المالي ومجتمع الأعمال ووزارة المالية والبنك المركزي ومنظمات أخرى، يوفر منصة مشتركة لبحث التحديات التي تواجه فتح التمويل وتعزيز الفرص للأعمال العراقية لتأمين التمويل وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي في البلاد.. و قد افتتحت الموتمر السيدة الينا سفيرة الولايات المتحدة الامريكية في العراق و قد قالت السيدة الينا (إن الوصول الى التمويل هو المفتاح لإنشاء القطاع الخاص ونموه وإنتاجيته، وخاصة للشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة الحجم) وأضافت “انه امر مشجع أن نكون جميعا حاضرين هنا اليوم حيث ان هناك دور رئيسي للحكومة العراقية وللمانحين الدوليين وشركاء التمويل الجدد وكذلك القطاع الخاص في توفير فرص أفضل للوصول الى التمويل في العراق. ونعتزم أن نخرج من هذا المؤتمر برؤية مشتركة وخطوات لاحقة “ملموسة لتلبية احتياجات التمويل للأعمال في العراق
The delegation of the Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE is participating in the “Access to Finance Conference” holding in Baghdad under the auspices of the United States Agency for International Development-USAID. This conference, which is attended by more than 200 representatives from the financial sector, the business community, the Ministry of Finance, the Iraqi Central Bank and other organizations, provides a common platform to discuss the challenges facing opening financing and enhancing opportunities for Iraqi businesses to secure financing and promote economic growth in the country.The conference was opened by Ms. Elena, the US ambassador to Iraq. Ms. Elena said (access to finance is the key to the creation, growth and productivity of the private sector, especially for small and medium-sized companies) and added, It is encouraging that we are all present here today as there is a key role for the Iraqi government, international donors, new financing partners, as well as the private sector in providing better access to financing in Iraq. We intend to emerge from this conference with a common vision and concrete subsequent steps to meet the financing needs of businesses in Iraq.”
