اعلان عضوية الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة – في الاتحاد العالمي لصون الطبيعة
(RCF) من ضمن نشاطات المنتدى الإقليمي العاشر لصون الطبيعة في غرب آسيا التابع للاتحاد الدولي لصون الطبيعة
والذي عقد في الفترة من 9 إلى 11 سبتمبر 2024 في الرياض، والذي استضافته المملكة العربية السعودية, تم اعلان عضوية الجمعية الهندسية للتطوير و البيئة كعضو جديد للاتحاد عن جمهورية العراق لمكتب غرب اسيا
حيث تم تقديم طلب العضوية من قبل الجمعية في بداية العام 2024 و الايفاء بكافة متطلباتها من الناحية الفنية و الادارية و القانونية و المالية و تمت المصادقة على الطلب من قبل رئاسة الاتحاد و اعلان الإنضمام رسمياُ ضمن جلسات المؤتمر
و تعتبر عضوية الاتحاد العالمي لصون الطبيعة مكسباُ عالمياُ جديداُ و رصيناُ للجمعية يضاف الى اكتسابها سابقاُ صفات الاستشارية و المراقب لمنظمات الامم المتحدة و المنظمات الدولية المختصة بأمور المحافظة على البيئة و التغيرات المناخية
و يتيح هذا المنصب المجال للجمعية بتقديم مقترحات المشاريع الى هذا الاتحاد و مشاركة خبراتهم في ايجاد الحلول لمشكلات العراق البيئية و المشاركة في كافة الاجتماعات الاقليمية و الدولية اضافة الى دعم الاتحاد بتقديم التوصيات التي تدعم عمل الجمعية في الاوساط الدولية
The announcement of EADE Membership in the International Union for Conservation of Nature-IUCN:
As part of the activities of the 10th Regional Forum for Conservation of Nature in West Asia of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (RCF), which was held from 9 to 11 September 2024 in the SARAJ Hall in Riyadh, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the membership of the Engineering Association for Development and Environment-EADE was announced as a new member of the Union for the Republic of Iraq for the West Asia Office.
The membership application was submitted by EADE at the beginning of 2024 and all technical, administrative, legal, and financial requirements were met. The application was approved by the Union Board and the official announcement of joining was announced during the opening conference session.
The membership of IUCN is considered a new and solid global gain for EADE, in addition to its previous accreditations of consultative and observer status for many United Nations organizations and international organizations specialized in environmental conservation and climate change.
This position allows EADE to submit project proposals to this union and to share IUCN expertise in finding solutions to Iraq’s environmental problems and to participate in all regional and international meetings in addition to providing positive recommendations that support EADE’s work in international environment.
